Donald R. Crist graduated from Missouri Auction School located in Kansas City, Missouri in March 1991, after a rigorous auction course taught by some of the top auctioneers in the nation.

Don gained experience by working with other auction firms for the better part of 10 years before opening his own full service, real estate and auction firm, "Crist & Associates Auction and Realty". He has participated in all types of auctions including Residential, Industrial, Agricultural Real Estate, Estates, Antiques, Coins, Guns and Collectibles, as well as benefit auctions.

Don is also a licensed Real Estate Broker. His firm sells real estate. He continues to value education and has taken over 500 hours of courses dealing with real estate and valuation. In March 2006, Don completed a three year program of study offered by the National Auctioneers Association conducted at Indiana University and was awarded the CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) designation. Less than five (5%) percent of the auctioneers in the nation have been awarded this respected auction designation. He is honest, forthright and industrious and values integrity in all things business and personal. Don's motto is "Do business win - win, so you can do business again and again."

Don is married with two sons and enjoys public service, civic affairs, coin collecting and his sons' activities.

Paul Sermersheim graduated from Missouri Auction School in 1991 after intensive instruction from several of the top auctioneers from around the nation.

Paul is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer having served in the Republic of Panama from 1994 – 1997. Since returning to Vermilion County in 2001 Paul has specialized in local fundraising and benefit auctions.

Currently a staff auctioneer with Crist and Associates Auction and Realty Inc. he is currently assisting with the sale of real estate, estates and personal property of all kinds.

Married with two children, Paul is a graduate of Danville Area Community College and is continuing his education at Eastern Illinois University. He is a graduate of the “Leadership Tomorrow” course. His interests include juvenile justice and international issues, and his hobbies include golf and civic affairs.
